What to take on holiday - Make up bag

When i go on holiday, i either over pack or under pack. This series i am doing on my blog will prepare you for going away on holiday in the summer.

Firstly, you will need a make up bag that is good for travel such as a double compartment bag or a roll/ hang up bag (i'm not sure what they're called). I don't think the roll bags will be handy with travelling because they have a lot of room in those bags and we are only packing light!

As you can see this make up bag has two compartments this is good for separation in your make up. You could put make up in one, brushes in the other or you could put face products and eyes and lips in the other, whatever you would like to do.
The first make up item to put in your bag is some sort of sunblock (i would take two if i were you, one in your make up bag and one in your carry on) to protect your skin. This is the Piz Buin Allergy Suncream for face.

Next product i would bring a BB Cream/ CC Cream, you don't want to bring a foundation because its to heavy and your skin needs to breathe during hot weather. As there will be hot weather i recommend bringing and face refresher spray, i love using the simple moisture boost spray just to refresh my face from the heat.

As for concealer, you can just put it in the places needed such as; you under eye, acne, pimples and any discoloration. For these purposes you can use the Rimmel Hide The Blemish Concealer. The stick formulation is better for hot weather because it's harder for the product to melt off of your face.

As for pressed powder, the one product that i love has to be the Rimmel Stay Matte. It is the best powder i have ever come across.
When packing bronzer and blush try and find a duo to make more room for other products. I recommend the Nars Duo in 'Oragasm' The packaging is really compact, but a lot of product in the two pans.
Eye shadow can be a problem when packing because its either to big or you may smash it. I have solved that problem for you! You can take the Revlon ColourStay Dual Ended Shadow Sticks. This is good because it won't crease as badly and will last longer.
For eye brows you can use an eyebrow pencil, if you use powder it will melt off your face and it will look awful! Using the Anastasia Brow Pencils can help, they are the most raved about eyebrow pencils ever! They come in many shades so they will have a colour for you.
Next is mascara and eyeliner, i think using waterproof eye products would be great for the summer. I recommend using Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof and for eyeliner Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil.

For lip products i think you should take 3/4. One lipstick, one lip stain, one lip balm and one lip gloss. You can wear the balm, lipstick and the gloss in the day and then the balm, lip stain and gloss at night events.

NO7 Lip Stain - Statement
Mac - Blankety

Burt's Bees Sun Protect - Lip Balm

Avon Clear Gloss - Clear

Thank you if you made it all the way down here :) I hoped this helped you to only pack the things needed! Next i will be doing toiletries - hair, body and hygiene. Hope you have a great day! Speak to you in my next post!

Avon Color Trend Blush - Review!

I have started to buy Avon products since the end of last year and so far they are all great!
I just want to review a blush i purchased a few days ago. Hope this will help you:)

This is what the packaging looks like outside and in. It comes with a small, slim, angled brush. (which is very soft!) The blush itself looks very dark, but with this blush you can contour like a bronzer and that would be great for Spring/Summer because it's not to harsh  on the face. This product can give you a nice pop of colour, but in the packaging it look very dark, However it comes out lighter depending how much product is on the brush. I really like this blush because its a nice colour, stays on for most of the day and is VERY inexpensive!

Hope this may of helped you a little, maybe if you are looking for some new blush for the warmer months, make sure you give these a go! :) BYE!

Bra-let Fashion!

Bra-lets have become a very big trend, as it is Spring/Summer a lot of celebrity's have been seen wearing them and also other people. I'm going to show you a few ways of styling Bra-lets:

To make a casual look you can always pair it with jeans, they're NEVER out of style. If its cold add a jacket over the top with a pair of flats and you're good to go out with your friends.

If it's to hot to wear jeans, wear jean shorts! You can wear plan denim or coloured/patterned. This will make it look original and stylish. Adding accessories will make this look less casual and wearable out to dinner or in a club.

This sweet spring outfit can make you look like 1 million dollars. Skater skirts can make T-shirts, Bra-lets, long sleeved tops and jumpers look classy and formal to any event. It flows, fits your body shape and is light to wear. You can find skater skirts with patterns, leather/wet look effect or just a plain colour.

These skirts are AMAZING paired with a bra-let and a fab pair of heels! As i said with the skater skirt look, it's very formal and you can always make it look non-formal if you were just going out with your friends by using converse, flats or a leather jacket.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Review!

The Maybelline Fit Me range is amazing. I own the foundation in the shade 115, the coverage on this product is medium, but i would say applying it with a brush would give you a flawless finish. It has to be one of the best foundations from the drugstore that i have tried. It does last for along time, it's great for a night out and blends out really well. This product has no oil, traslucent base and light weight pigmants. I do recommend this product to anyone that would like to try it, hope this helps! x
